How to hire a Heathrow airport cab?
Fill out the pick-up address and terminal in the booking form and request a fixed quote from licensed pick-up operators for your journey. Book with safety online, and a confirmation email and SMS arrive with your driver's information.  
Do I need to register before booking?
No. Guest checkout is available on every journey. An account only exists to save your details for the next time.   
What is the minimum period that I need to reserve a taxi to Heathrow?
Airport travel is recommended to be a minimum of 24 hours. Private trips of up to 1 year in advance or same day, depending on the operator's availability.  
Do I have the option to make a one-way transfer from the airport to my hotel and back?
Yes. If a booking form needs to be switched to Return, then the search should be done before booking, and both legs should be quoted and confirmed in one booking.  
At what time would you have to be at Heathrow for a flight?
There are some general guidelines: for long-haul flights, allow 3 hours before departure, and for short-haul flights, allow 2 hours before departure, and add the journey time on top of this. If you're not sure, our booking team will give you some tips on routes.  
Can I change or cancel my booking?
Yes, through your booking reference or by contacting support.  
How many terminals does Heathrow have?
There are four terminals at Heathrow: Terminal 2, Terminal 3, Terminal 4 and Terminal 5. Note: Terminal 1 closed permanently in 2015; be sure to check your boarding pass and not your old ticket.  
Where will my driver be waiting for me at Terminal 2?
The pick-up area in the central terminal zone is used for the Terminal 2 collections. Meet and greet: your driver will wait in arrivals with a name board.  
What is the pick-up point for Terminal 3?
Terminal 3 is located in the central area, next to Terminal 2, and has its own collection. On landing, your driver confirms the exact spot by SMS.  
What are the coordinates of 4th Terminal?
Terminal 4 is a terminal located apart from the central terminals and has its own separate pick-up area. Arrange the right terminal for your driver to go directly to, not the wrong one, across the airport.  
At what pick-up point will you get to Terminal 5?
The airport's Terminal 5 is located at the western end of the airport and has its own collection area. This is the most distant terminal from the central zone, so make allowances for that in your times.  
If I don't already have a terminal, what can I do?
Please book on the terminal listed on your ticket and inform us if the terminal is changed by the airline. Terminal amendments are generally very simple if notified in advance.  
Do you provide meet and greet at Heathrow?
Yes. Your driver is waiting in the arrivals hall holding your name board and assisting you with your luggage. Please choose the option when booking.  
Does the price quoted include VAT?
Yes. All quotes are guaranteed and include VAT. There is no meter and no drop-off charges.  
How much will Heathrow drop-off cost?
There is a paid drop-off zone at each terminal at Heathrow for vehicles using the forecourt. I think it is £6 per visit, but it has been raised more than once since it was introduced, so I can't confirm what it is now. Please check on heathrow.com before publishing, as well as stating clearly if your quotes include it or not.  
Is Heathrow charge covered in my ticket?
Do drop-off and pick-up fees fall within the quoted fare, or are they an additional cost? This is the most frequent complaint point for when booking air transfers – the answer must be precise!  
What will it cost me to have my aeroplane delayed?
No. Arrival times are tracked on all Heathrow Pick-ups and automatically adjusted for your driver's arrival by us for no additional charge.  
Can I use a diversity of tools to track progress?
For terminal pick-ups, please confirm your waiting time allowance, as well as for residential addresses.   
Do you make Gatwick to Heathrow transfers?
Yes. Cross London airport transfers operate in both directions with luggage space and times scheduled to accommodate the flow of traffic on the M25. Don't wait to connect to book, as it will fill up quickly.  
What type of car should I get to transport my luggage?
A saloon has 4 passengers and 2 cases, and an estate has 4 passengers and 4 cases. Select MPV (6 passengers / 5 cases) for families and minibus (16 passengers / 10 cases) for groups. Those who are travelling long distances should consider a larger ticket.
